Dr Kushelew has recently been appointed Vice President of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS), a multi-disciplinary fellowship of practitioners, surgeons and specialists that sets the standards for cosmetic surgery and cosmetic medicine. Says ACCS General Manager Jenny Valance, “Between Irene’s own extensive experience and exposure to world leaders in injectables she brings so many skills and a real depth of knowledge about this field to Australia, our ACCS delegates and her clients. Dr Kushelew is very active in both the academic and training aspects or ACCS, which are quite extensive as the ACCS is the only organisation dedicated to training in the cosmetic surgery and cosmetic medicine fields. Dr Kushelew his written the curriculum for the Diploma in Cosmetic lnjectables and oversees a lot of the training – she’s one of the most experienced cosmetic injectors in Australia.”
