Dr Irene Kushelew

Dr Irene Kushelew has over 30 years experience in Cosmetic Medicine and specialises in injectable facial rejuvenation techniques (wrinkle treatments & volumisation treatments).
Dr Kushelew graduated in medicine in 1982 and has since become one of Australia’s leading practitioners of non-surgical cosmetic medicine. She is a Founding Member of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia (CPSA), a former SA President of CPSA, a Fellow of the Faculty of Medicine and past-President of The Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (ACCSM), former member of the Allergan Advisory Board, a former National Trainer for Allergan, Founder & Director of Beauty & Medicine and Principal of Cosmedic Mentor, an in-clinic training service for aesthetic medical practitioners.

Nikisha Maynard

Based in Adelaide, Nikisha Maynard is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with over 12 years’ experience across emergency nursing, paediatrics, education and clinical research. She brings a strong foundation in critical care and patient safety to her role within aesthetic medicine.
Beginning her career in Emergency Medicine, Nikisha developed advanced clinical skills in fast-paced, high-acuity environments. Her professional background also includes paediatric care, nurse education and research, with extensive experience teaching emergency skills to healthcare professionals, including those working in rural settings.
Nikisha is a qualified Aseptic Technique and Basic Life Support trainer and is skilled in ultrasound-guided intravenous cannulation. She is deeply committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice, with a strong focus on maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.
Her diverse healthcare experience supports her work in cosmetic injectable treatments, where precision, safety and a detailed understanding of anatomy are essential. Working within established clinical protocols and with a patient-focused approach, Nikisha combines clinical expertise with an artistic eye to support safe, considered and natural-looking aesthetic outcomes.
Sinead Lavelle
Registered Nurse – NMW0001611664
Sinead Lavelle is a registered nurse based in Darwin with over 15 years clinical experience. She holds post graduate certificates in breast cancer nursing and cosmetic nursing awarded by the Australian College of Nursing.
Originally from Ireland, Sinead brings the warmth and welcoming nature associated with the Emerald Isle into her approach to patient care. She holds post graduate certificates in breast cancer nursing and cosmetic nursing and her clinical background has shaped a careful and patient-centred approach to aesthetic practice.
Sinead particularly enjoys welcoming patients who are new to aesthetic treatments and takes the time to guide each patient through their consultation so they feel informed, comfortable and supported. She is known for her genuine care for the people she treats and for creating a calm and welcoming environment.
